Welcome to Here And Away Travel, I'm so excited to have you checking out what we're all about!
I have always had a crazy passion for travel - I love exploring new destinations, experiencing new cultures, and seeing all that the world has to offer. I have traveled to the majority of states in the US, countless Caribbean islands, many places in Mexico, Canada, Iceland, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Monaco, just to name a few! In 2012, while planning my own Destination Wedding to La Romana in the Dominican Republic, I was given the opportunity to start my career in travel. I instantly fell in love, and am so blessed to have been able to start my own adventure in this industry!
My husband, Ant, is someone who shares the same wanderlust gene. We have two beautiful sons who love accompanying us on our adventures! They are 9 and 11, and as they’re getting older they are traveling more and more with us. I love experiencing new destinations through their eyes. (And as a Mom of two kids, I can absolutely relate to planning travel with little ones! I am here to guide you every step of the way with these special vacations!)
Destination Weddings are my specialty, and my absolute FAVORITE to plan. I know how much I loved my own, and treasure all of the time we were able to spend with our friends and family in such an amazing place - and I want everyone to experience that feeling!
Favorite Places I’ve Visited: Mexico has my heart (it’s basically our second home!) Sienna, Italy….Oahu, Hawaii....Heidelberg, Germany….La Romana, Dominican Republic…Reykjavik, Iceland…Tromso, Norway (heaven on earth!)…Estepona, Spain.
Travel Habits: On the way there: I purchase every magazine I can find, and enjoy mindless reading on the plane with a glass of champagne. Once I’m there: I love meeting and chatting with the locals, learning about their favorite things to do and see in the area, and visiting the places they love most.

I believe travel and experience are the most valuable things in life.
Since I was young, I've always asked for gifts of travel instead of receiving tangible gifts. I'd prefer a fancy cocktail and a delicious meal sitting by the ocean (or lake, or river - really any body of water!) over a material item any day. My first time out of the country was when I was 14, when my parents took my friend Lauren and I to Cancun, Mexico.
My husband Dave and I have made sure to raise our boys - now 22 and 23 years old - the same way. We go on at least two vacations a year - always picking one destination somewhere on the water in the US. Whether it be a high rise in Miami, a campground in Pennsylvania, or a beach house in South Carolina, we love that relaxing family time. The second trip is always outside of the country, usually on a cruise or a hopping on a flight to the Caribbean Islands. When we can sneak in a third or fourth trip, we absolutely do!
Two years ago we were invited to a wedding in a small village in Greece, and I immediately fell in love with a completely different experience, Europe. WOW! I am starving for more! I am so thankful that my family and friends crave these experiences, too, and I am so excited to share my experiences with them.... with everyone!
I have been working in the Wedding Industry for about 8 years now, so I have a knack for working with brides - taking the stress off of their shoulders to help plan their special day. I love that I now have the opportunity to also help them plan either a Destination Wedding or an amazing Honeymoon!
I had the opportunity to see Jess in action in Mexico, coordinating a sales incentive trip for a company of over 300 people. Everyone was so gracious and eager to thank her for organizing the trip of a lifetime. She made sure every detail of every guests’ travel was perfect, and took the stress away from the business owners who were hosting the trip. I knew from that weekend that I couldn't let another day go by without working with Jess and becoming a Travel Agent. I look forward to planning the trip of a lifetime for as many people as possible! We spend our lives working every day, and we have to reward ourselves - and there is no better way, than with the gift of travel.
Favorite Places I’ve Visited: Kymi, Greece….Playa Mujeres, Mexico….St Maarten…and my husband Dave and I will grab a drink at Tommy’s Tiki Bar in Clearwater Beach, FL, any chance we can get!
Travel Habits: My favorite thing to do while traveling is to meet and dance with the locals! I always bring my own pillow on the plane, watch movies, and read books and magazines. Once i'm there, I want to see how everyone lives. I will go to a local bar or restaurant to meet the locals, hear stories, drink, eat and dance! I walk as far as I can every morning to see as much as I can possibly see!
Favorite Songs to Listen to While Traveling: Anything Reggae or Calypso - give me Bob Marley or a steel drum and life doesn’t get any better.

I have made sure each event was meticulously planned and executed. Embracing local culture and cuisine into my planning elevates my events and immerses my clients in an unforgettable experience. Seeing their vision come to life onsite is the most rewarding part of the job!
Ever since I started as an Event Planner, I have made it my priority to travel as much as possible! I now embark on adventures and capture the beauty of the world as a travel and lifestyle photographer. I believe in immersing myself in the local experiences, embracing the unknown and capturing the essence of each destination. Whether it's candid shots of people in their natural environments or beautifully composing images of simple moments, my photos tell stories and evoke emotions. I hope my photos bring joy and inspiration to those who see them!
I’m excited for this new opportunity with Jess and Jayme! When I traveled with them last year on an incentive trip they coordinated, I knew right away we would be a perfect match. We all have a passion for creating memorable experiences and aren’t afraid to put in the hard work. Providing exceptional service to each and every client is my goal and I look forward to achieving that with Here and Away Travel!
Favorite Places I’ve Visited: Scotland! From the rolling green hills to its rich history and vibrant culture, I couldn't get enough. The people are lovely, the whisky is unmatched and the Haggis didn't taste as bad as it looked! I look forward to returning to hike the Scottish Highlands and perhaps have a stay at the enchanted Inverlochy Castle.
Travel Habits: I create a detailed packing list to make sure I have ALL of the essentials, just in case. I watch endless TikToks to stay on top of the latest travel and packing trends. While visiting any destination, I make sure to take a ton of pictures and videos to capture the moments and then create fun posts for others to enjoy.
